Introduction

Rippllle is a product of WorkerSpring, Inc. ("WorkerSpring," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how we collect, use, protect, and disclose your Personal Information when you use the Rippllle web and mobile applications, the rippllle.com and app.rippllle.com websites, and related services (collectively, "Rippllle" or the "Services"), or when you communicate with us about Rippllle.

WorkerSpring operates other products that are governed by their own privacy policies. This Policy applies to Rippllle.

This Policy also explains how we handle Google user data when you sign in with Google or connect Google services to Rippllle. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What Rippllle Is

Rippllle is a community platform. People join communities they belong to in real life (churches, schools, nonprofits, small groups, businesses, and similar organizations), and those communities share announcements, events, asks, offers, and updates with their members. Much of what you share on Rippllle is intended to be seen by other members of your communities. This Policy explains what is collected, who can see it, and how you control it.

Important Notice on Google User Data

If you sign in to Rippllle using your Google account, or you later connect Google services to Rippllle, we may collect, use, store, or share certain Google user data as described in this Policy. Rippllle uses this data solely to provide or improve core user-facing features such as signing in, building your profile, and (when the feature is available) scheduling community events on your calendar.

We only use Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in Rippllle's interface and that you would reasonably expect. We do not use or transfer Google user data for advertising, for profiling unrelated to Rippllle's community and networking functionality, or for any form of data monetization. We do not share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to provide core app functionality, comply with law, or with your explicit consent.

If we change how we use Google user data, we will notify you through an in-app notice or by email.

What Is Personal Information?

"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being linked to a specific person. It does not include information that is publicly available through government records or information that has been anonymized so that it cannot be used to identify a specific individual ("Anonymized Data").

"Google User Data" means any personal data originating from or associated with your Google account, including your Google profile information (such as name, email address, and profile picture), authentication tokens, and any other data accessed through Google APIs such as Google Sign-In or, when available, the Google Calendar API.

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

Depending on how you use Rippllle, we may collect the following categories of Personal Information:

• Identifiers: Name, email address, profile photo, IP address, device identifiers, cookie IDs, browser type, operating system, and the dates and times you use Rippllle.
• Profile Information: The information you add to your Rippllle profile, such as a headline, bio, skills, and the city and state you choose to share.
• Location Data: The city-level location you provide for your profile, your communities, or content you post. Rippllle stores city, state, and country, along with approximate map coordinates for that place, so members can find nearby communities, events, and opportunities. Rippllle does not collect precise GPS location or track your movements.
• Community and Membership Information: The communities you create, join, or request to join, your role in each community, and your answers to any join questions a community asks.
• User Generated Content: Announcements, events, asks, offers, updates, comments, responses, photos, and other content you post or send on Rippllle, and your registrations and RSVPs for events.
• Communications: The content of messages, emails, feedback, and support requests you send to us.
• Payment Information: If you or your community purchases a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment card details. WorkerSpring does not store full card numbers. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits of the card, and billing contact information.
• Internet Activity: Pages and screens you view, features you use, links you click, and how long you spend on Rippllle.
• Other information you choose to provide to us.

Google User Data We Collect

When you sign in with Google, Rippllle may access the following, only with your explicit consent during the sign-in process:

• Basic Profile Information: Name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
• Authentication Data: Access tokens used to verify your identity and enable secure login.

Rippllle does not currently connect to Google Calendar. If and when we add a Google Calendar integration, it will be optional, it will request only the calendar permissions needed to add community events to your calendar and send related reminders, and we will update this Policy before the feature is released. We will not access your calendar data unless you turn that feature on.

We do not collect sensitive Google user data such as precise location history, search history, YouTube activity, Google Drive contents, or your Google contacts.

How Do We Collect Personal Information?

Directly from you. When you create an account, complete your profile, create or join a community, post or respond to content, register for an event, purchase a plan, contact us, or otherwise use Rippllle.

Automatically. When you use Rippllle, we collect certain technical and usage information through cookies, device identifiers, server logs, and similar technologies ("Analytic Data"). Where Analytic Data is linked to you, we treat it as Personal Information.

From other users and communities. Community owners and managers may add information about you when they invite you, approve your membership, or manage their community. Other members may mention or respond to you in content they post.

From third-party login services. If you sign in with Google, we receive the Google User Data described above. We do not control Google's policies or terms. Information you have provided to Google is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

From service providers. We may receive technical information from the providers that host, deliver, secure, and analyze Rippllle.

How Do We Use Personal Information?

We use Personal Information to:

• Provide Rippllle. Create and service your account, connect you with the communities you join, publish your content to the audiences you choose, deliver notifications and alerts, process event registrations, and process payments for paid plans.
• Communicate with you. Send transactional emails such as one-time sign-in codes, community invitations, membership decisions, event reminders, and account notices. Send you product updates and news about Rippllle, which you can opt out of at any time.
• Help communities operate. Give community owners and managers the tools to approve members, moderate content, manage events, and understand participation in their own community.
• Improve Rippllle. Understand how people use Rippllle, troubleshoot problems, develop new features, and customize your experience.
• Keep Rippllle safe. Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and violations of our terms, enforce community standings such as bans, and protect the security of the Services.
• Meet legal obligations. Comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

How Rippllle Uses Google User Data

We use Google user data exclusively to provide and improve Rippllle's core functionality: authenticating your login and prefilling your name, email, and profile picture when you create your account, and, once available and if you enable it, adding community events to your Google Calendar.

We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, remarketing, or building advertising profiles. We do not combine Google user data with third-party data sets for purposes unrelated to providing or improving Rippllle's user-facing features. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Who Can See Your Information on Rippllle?

Because Rippllle is a community platform, some of your information is visible to other people by design:

• Your profile (name, photo, headline, and the city you share) is visible to members of communities you belong to, and may be visible to others depending on your settings and the visibility of the communities you join.
• Content you post is visible to the audience of the community or communities you post it to. Content in a Public community may be visible to anyone who can view that community. Content in a Private community is visible only to its members.
• Your membership in a community is visible to that community's owners and managers, and to other members where the community has turned on its member directory.
• Event registrations are visible to the event's host and, for events with a public schedule, aggregate registration counts may be shown without identifying individual people.
• Your join question answers are visible to the owners and managers of the community you applied to.

Community owners and managers on certain plans may access reports about their community's members. These reports contain information members have shared with that community and are intended to help the community serve its members.

With Whom Do We Share Personal Information?

• Service Providers. We share Personal Information with providers that perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting and database services, authentication, email delivery, payment processing, mapping and place lookup, analytics, and fraud prevention. We require these providers to protect your Personal Information and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
• Other Users and Communities. As described in "Who Can See Your Information on Rippllle," and at your direction.
• Parties to Business Transactions. In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, Personal Information may be transferred to the successor or acquiring entity, which will be bound by a privacy policy that provides equivalent protection for Google user data.
• Government and Law Enforcement. Where required by law or a valid legal request, to protect our legal rights, or for the safety of the public or any person.
• Any other third party to whom you consent or instruct us to share your information.

WorkerSpring does not sell Personal Information, including Google user data, and does not "share" Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Sharing of Google User Data

We share Google user data only as necessary to provide or improve Rippllle:

• With service providers: Authentication data is processed by Google and by our authentication and hosting provider solely to sign you in and store your account securely.
• With communities you join: Your name, email, and profile picture (which may have originated from your Google account) are shared with communities you join as part of your Rippllle profile.
• In business transactions: Only with successors who agree to uphold equivalent protections.

We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes, and we do not sell Google user data.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Personal Information, including:

• Encryption. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Access controls. Access to Personal Information is limited to personnel who need it, protected by role-based permissions and multi-factor authentication.
• Separated environments. Production data is kept separate from development and testing environments, with separate credentials.
• Reputable infrastructure. Rippllle runs on hosting, database, and payment providers that maintain independent security certifications.
• Breach response. If a breach affects your Personal Information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

For Google user data, we use scoped permissions, request only what a feature needs, and minimize retention.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to provide Rippllle, fulfill the purposes in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Content you posted to communities may remain visible to those communities after you leave them or delete your account, shown without your identifying details, so that community conversations stay intact. You can delete your own content at any time before deleting your account.
• Deleted accounts. When you delete your account, we remove your name, email, profile, and other identifying details. To prevent banned users from creating new accounts and to allow you to return to Rippllle later, we retain a one-way cryptographic fingerprint of your email address that cannot be reversed to reveal the address itself.
• Google user data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion or your revocation of Rippllle's access through your Google Account permissions, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
• Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.

You may request deletion of your data by emailing privacy@workerspring.com. We process requests within 30 days, subject to legal holds.

Your Choices

Cookies. Rippllle uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to understand how Rippllle is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking necessary cookies may prevent Rippllle from working. Learn more at allaboutcookies.org.

Analytics. We use privacy-focused analytics tools to measure aggregate usage of Rippllle. We do not use analytics data to serve advertising.

Email preferences. You can opt out of non-essential emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any such email, updating your notification settings in Rippllle, or contacting privacy@workerspring.com. You will continue to receive emails necessary to operate your account, such as one-time sign-in codes and security notices.

Google permissions. You can revoke Ripplle's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Profile and content. You can edit your profile, leave communities, and delete your content from within Rippllle at any time.

Your Rights Regarding Your Data

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your Personal Information, including Google user data, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@workerspring.com. We respond within 30 days.

Residents of certain U.S. states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia) may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain processing and the right to appeal a decision we make regarding a privacy request. To appeal, email privacy@workerspring.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Anonymized Data

We may create Anonymized Data about Rippllle's users as a group, such as how many communities of a given type exist in a region, that does not identify any individual. We may use and disclose Anonymized Data for any lawful purpose.

Children's Privacy

Rippllle is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child, we will delete it as soon as reasonably practicable and take steps to prevent further collection, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws.

International Data Transfers

Rippllle is operated from the United States. If you use Rippllle from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, or change how we use Google user data, we will notify you through an in-app notice or by email. Your continued use of Rippllle after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
